why god made daughters..

WHY GOD MADE DAUGHTERS....

It is said always that ' sons are MAA KE LAADLE and daughters are' DADDY'S DARLINGS..' Being a daughter and a mother of a daughter ,I completely agree . I remember very well that my daughter , MANVITA uttered her first word, was PAPA. We all were so surprised because all were trying to make her speak his /her name like.. ma..ma ;da ..da..;ba..ba etc.. My husband ,Vivek had never tried to make manvita speak PA..PA.. but she spoke this word ....lolz..
Vivek had been on tours very frequently as a part of his job i.e. photography. Whenever he returned from his such tours ,Manvita used to giggle all the time looking at Vivek.( i am nowhere till today if daddy and daughter are together... :P). I personally believe that daughters are so special that if sons bring smile on our faces.. DAUGHTERS give BEAUTY to that smile.
Here is a poetry specially made for and dedicated to all the daughters..with all my due respect to the poet..( i dont know the name)..
WHY GOD MADE DAUGHTERS.....
WHEN GOD CREATED DAUGHTERS
HE TOOK VERY SPECIAL CARE
TO FINDTHEPRECIOUS TREASURES
THAT WOULD MAKE THEM SWEET AND FAIR....

HE GAVE THEM SMILES OF ANGELS
THEN EXPLOREDTHE MIDNIGHT SKIES
AND TOOK A BIT OF STARDUST
TO MAKE BRIGHT AND TWINKLING EYES...

HE FASHIONED THEM FROM SUGAR
AND A LITTLE BIT OF SPICE,
HE GAVE THEM SUNNY LAUGHTER
AND EVERYTHING THAT IS NICE..

HE SMILED WHEN HE MADE DAUGHTERS,
BECAUSE HE KNEW HE HAD
CREATED LOVE AND HAPPINESS
FOR EVERY MOM AND DAD.....

Some days back I happened to visit a gynaecologist with my friend for her routine check up.When we reached to the doc ,she was busy consulting other patient so we were waiting for our turn. All of a sudden we all heard the doc shouting...we all were quite surprised as she is a very jolly good lady.A couple came out of the consulting room. Now it was our turn.We entered in the room. After my friend's routine check up,i asked the doc why she shouted.In her words:"arre,this couple wanted to get aborted their child ...just because,they learnt from some other laboratory,ITS A GIRLCHILD...when i refused to do so,they told me very bluntly that they would go to another doctor for the abortion...and i lost my temper...."
This incident made me write something as if I WERE THAT UNBORN CHILD.and so i wrote and sharing with you..

hello!!!its me!!!your unborn child,perhaps ,by tomorrow,i will be NEVERBORN.
i want to see this beautiful world with my eyes...i want to catch the butterfly as sweetubhaiya catches..i also want to play with sweetubhaiya and his friends pappu,chinky,frooty...i am wondering by what name i would have been called?pinky?tinky?mishty?or something like that?Yesterday daddy and you were talking that you dont want me..BUT WHY?What is my fault?why cant i come to this world?Please ....dont kill me...mummy,dont you feel that i m crying???PLEEEEEEAASSSSSEEE....are you listening to me???

WE,THE PEOPLE ....

Today i was standing at the crossroads near my house waiting for the signals to open.I saw a little boy selling TIRANGA i.e. our flag for rs.10 or so. I just asked him what he was selling."DHAJA"he replied. Means FLAG...He was absolutely right but ignorent about the republic day.HOGA KUCHH...He was totally interested in his income obviously.
I was little shocked for his ignorance but within no time i realised how many of us are really awared of the significance of the republic day?Or even our national flag?Many of us might be planning to celebrate CHHUTTI in their own way,may be shopping,watching movies,picnics etc etc..A very few people will really salute the day..the heroes of our country..most of us will forget to respect our national flag after all the celebrations get over..it is quite possible that on the next day,if we see our flag lying on the ground,will not care even to take it..WE ,THE PEOPLE...MERA BHAARAT MAHAAN..
I promise to myself that in future if i see our flag on the ground,will take it. WILL YOU?
